Referrals and points
Two programmes, and they feed each other: the people you refer make your points as well as your commission.
Referrals
Section titled “Referrals”Every account has a referral link from the moment it exists — you do not have to create one. The code in it is derived from your address, so it is the same link on any device and it works before you go looking for it. You can replace it with something more memorable at any time.
What you earn
Section titled “What you earn”A share of the platform fee the people you refer pay. Not a share of their profits, and not a surcharge added to their trading:
| Tier | Commission |
|---|---|
| Standard | 10% |
| Elite | 20% |
| Partner | 30% |
Everyone starts on Standard. Elite and Partner are granted, not earned by volume — a ladder you can climb by trading is a ladder you can climb by trading with yourself.
What they get
Section titled “What they get”A 10% discount on the platform fee, for as long as they use the platform. Referring somebody makes the product cheaper for them and costs them nothing.
The money comes out of our share either way. That is the whole arrangement: we take less, you take some, and the person you invited pays less than they otherwise would.
The rules
Section titled “The rules”The first code counts. A referral is recorded once and never changes — not by us, not by you, and not by whoever asks second. It is the only version of the rule that cannot be worked around.
You cannot refer yourself. That is one person moving our fee into their own pocket with nobody else involved.
You can refer someone who referred you. Commission is single-level — it is paid on the fees a referee generates, never on the commission they earned — so there is no loop, just two ordinary referrals.
You see a count, not a person. Referred addresses are shown to you shortened. You are owed the knowledge that your link worked and what it generated; you are not owed the ability to watch one account trade.
Points
Section titled “Points”Points are earned weekly, towards a future $PNL release. Each week — an epoch — has a pool, and it is divided by share rather than by hitting a threshold.
What counts
Section titled “What counts”| Weight | What it measures | |
|---|---|---|
| Your own activity | 55% | Platform fees you paid, as a share of everyone’s |
| People you referred | 25% | The fees they paid |
| Coming back | 20% | How many of the last four weeks you were active |
Activity is measured in fees paid, which is directly proportional to what you traded. Retention only counts if you were active this week too — it rewards coming back, not having once been here.
The pool, and the cap
Section titled “The pool, and the cap”The pool starts small and grows as the platform does, so the giveaway is tied to the thing it is meant to reward.
No single account can take more than 1.5% of any week’s pool. This is the most important rule in the programme and it has a visible consequence: while the platform is small, everyone is capped, scores tie, and most of the pool goes unawarded. That is not a bug. Without it, the first quiet week would hand one address a third of everything and no later week could dilute it.
Points above the cap are not redistributed. Passing a whale’s overflow to the next largest holder is the same concentration one seat down.
| Tier | Lifetime points |
|---|---|
| Bronze | 0 |
| Silver | 1,000 |
| Gold | 10,000 |
| Diamond | 50,000 |
When points are awarded
Section titled “When points are awarded”At the end of the epoch, never during it. Your share cannot be known until it is known who else took part, so the page shows what you have paid in fees so far and awards nothing until the week closes. A number quoted and then revised is worse than no number.
